We are looking for ServiceNow Operations Engineer to join one of our infrastructure teams that is responsible for implementing and supporting ServiceNow solution in Commerzbank, including CMDB, Discovery, IT Operations Management, IT Service Management, IT Asset Management and SecOps.

Your tasks

  • Maintaining operational stability of ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM across production and non-production environments
  • Administration of ServiceNow Discovery and MID servers
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and defects related to ServiceNow modules
  • Implementing, testing and deploying new features and enhancements
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting Discovery patterns
  • Developing and maintaining ServiceNow scripts in JavaScript
  • Monitoring system performance and identifying areas of improvements
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Your profile

  • Good understanding of IT Operations Management and IT Asset Management
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow Discovery and MID server architecture and principles or other infrastructure scanning systems
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure, networking and server authentication methods
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript or other programming languages
  • Experience with integration between ServiceNow and other third-party systems, REST APIs, cloud APIs, including use of ServiceNow Integration Hub
  • Hands-on experience with SQL
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence)
  • Ability to work in agile environment
  • English written and spoken, any German skills would be seen as an advantage
  • Logical and analytical thinking
