This is a position within Corporate Clients, Credit Portfolio Management FORM.   FORM focuses on the Financial Resource Planning, Risk Monitoring, Reporting and Project Management aspects of the segment:

  •   Financial Resource Planning:
    • Responsible for the timely deliverable of Financial Resource and Revenue forecasts for CPM and the CPM-managed portfolios within ACR.
    • The financial resources includes: RWA, Balance Sheet, Capital Deductions, Leverage Ratio Exposure, and Funding. The Revenue forecasts include   Revenues, Shortfall, LLP, and Costs.
    • Ongoing cost management and reportin
  • Transaction Support & Business Initiatives:
    • Supporting all new business initiatives (NPP) by creating infrastructure and ensuring all business aspects and governance requirements are met.
    • Daily Trading support e.g. full life cycle management of trades, after it has been booked by the traders (amendments, pay downs, unwinds, novations, clearing, resets etc.).
    • Project Management of all CPM relevant topics
    • Support the maintenance of the Loan model used by the Lending business  
    • Coordinate internal & external audi
  • Regulations:
    • Assessment and application of market regulations to the various CPM portfolios
    • Project management role in ensuring compliance with new regulations across CPM
    • Ensuring ongoing compliance with all relevant regulati
  • Risk Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Responsible for all issues related to CPM figures published in the bank e.g. GM-F, Risk.
    • Production and analysis of data in CPM, as well as the corresponding controlling and reporting activities e.g. P&L reporting, reports used in forums such   as SBM and MRC.
    • Limit monitoring and limit control activities
    • Maintaining desk & trader mandates, business strategy documentation as well quarterly desk dialogue
  • Compliance Risk Management:
    • Central role in coordinating and ensuring CPM meeting all relevant Compliance requirements. This includes annual self-assessments, senior   manager regime, governance framework, daily post-trade checks, KYC reporting, etc.

A member of the FORM team has a broad knowledge and interest in their area of expertise based on professional experience in Credit Portfolio Management, Risk Management or Finance.

  • Understanding of credit and market risks with specific technical skills related to loans and derivatives
  • Good knowledge of loan products including regulatory and accounting concepts and requirements, loan mechanics and market standards.
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills
  • Keenness to learn and develop own professional expertise through on-the-job training, and formal training as appropriate.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools, SQL databases, and analysis of large datasets.
  • High degree of proactive behaviour, creativity and accuracy
  • Ability to present and explain concepts, processes and ideas as well as proven strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Builds reliable working relationships within CC Credit Portfolio Management, Corporate Clients as well as other areas of the bank (e.g. senior staff in FIC, Finance, Risk).
  • Proactively supports strategic initiatives conceptually and in cooperation with CPM-internal and external teams.
  • Meticulously support the compiling of senior management presentations, management information and CPM strategy papers (e.g. for Multi Year Planning, ALCO etc.)

Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) is the centre of competence for managing credit risk exposure arising out of lending activity and counterparty credit on derivatives. CPM is also the centre of competence for finalising the wind down of Structured Credit Legacy exposures.  The team is mainly based in London Frankfurt and New York.
