The required roles focus on supporting Corporates and Markets, Commerzbank’s investment banking division, with effective and efficient IT services in a fast-moving and agile environment. Main tasks include:

  • First and second line support (Application Operation) for Compliance applications following existing SLAs as well as internal and external regulations
  • Monitoring and steering of production stability, i.e. ensuring a smooth production of supported applications
  • Support with complex problem and error analysis and fixing them following the Service Management processes
  • Initiating stabilization and optimization tasks (automation, monitoring, scrips/procedures, reports) when necessary
  • User Support for business and technical questions regarding the supported applications
  • Communication for support issues (incl. escalation) and ensuring transparency of application support
  • Executing changes in production following change requests
  • Support for projects with respect to production support topics
  • Creationg and maintainance of the necessary application and support documentation (online help, user guide, operation manual, security concept, training documentation)
  • Participation in on-call support following existing workers council agreements, if necessary as described in SLA’s

The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users. The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to the business area and products as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant degree (1st class or 2.1 attainment)
